| Judy Nason Riding Clinics
Judy Nason, renowned trainer of western, hunt and saddleseat Morgan horses and riders, will be offering lessons through a series of two-day clinics at Absolute Morgans this winter. Judy brings a wealth of experience in working with a variety of riding disciplines, and all ages of riders. As a youth, she focused on the saddle seat discipline; but over the years, she has ably incorporated hunt seat, western seat, driving and in-hand expertise -- coaching numerous regional and national champions along the way. She has started four-year old lead liners, and brought them along into the competitive equitation ranks, and even some of her riders have won the highly coveted AMHA Medal Class at the national level. Visit Judy's website at www.bellewetherstables.com to learn more about her.
Judy strives to build a relationship between the horse and rider -- for the pleasure rider or those with an eye to compete in the show ring. The two-day, monthly clinic series allows the student to develop a program for working their horse at home, while acquiring horsemanship skills that can last a lifetime. The lessons are $55 for a private lesson, or $100 for two lessons; $40 for one semi-private or $75 for two lessons. Auditors are always welcome. A limited number of stalls are available at $10/day.
Weather permitting, Judy will provide private and semi-private lessons to childern and adults through the month of April. A potluck supper on Saturday night allows participants to relax and enjoy good food and camaraderie. Clinics are scheduled for January 21-22, February 11-12, March 17-18 and April 28-29; the winter-weather alternative dates are a week later. For more information, call Janet Yager at 802-545-2457.
